Understanding Tracking Statuses

"Order Received / Processing"
We've received your order and are preparing it for shipment. This typically takes 1-2 business days.

"Label Created / Pre-shipment"
Your shipping label has been created and your package is ready to be picked up by the carrier. Tracking will update once the carrier scans the package.

"In Transit"
Your package is on its way! It's moving through the carrier's network toward your delivery address.

"Out for Delivery"
Your package is on the delivery vehicle and will arrive today (typically by end of business day).

"Delivered"
Your package has been successfully delivered to the address provided. Check your mailbox, porch, or designated safe location.

"Attempted Delivery"
The carrier attempted delivery but couldn't complete it (you weren't home, signature required, etc.). They'll typically try again the next business day.

"Exception / Delay"
There's an unexpected delay (weather, customs hold, incorrect address, etc.). Check tracking details for more information or contact the carrier.

"Held at Post Office / Pickup Location"
Your package is being held at a local facility for pickup. Bring valid ID and your tracking number.

What If My Tracking Hasn't Updated?

Recently Shipped (< 48 hours ago)
Tracking information can take 24-48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after your shipment notification. Please check again tomorrow.

Stuck on "Pre-shipment" for 3+ Days
Sometimes carriers don't scan packages at every checkpoint. Your package may actually be in transit. Wait 2-3 more days and check again.

No Movement for 5-7 Days
This could indicate:

  • Package stuck in customs (international orders)
  • Carrier backlog or holiday delays
  • Lost or misrouted package

Action: Contact us at support@easeyn.com with your order number. We'll investigate with the carrier.

Shows "Delivered" But You Don't Have It
Check:

  • βœ… All entry points (front door, back door, garage, mailbox)
  • βœ… With neighbors or household members
  • βœ… Safe delivery locations (behind bushes, under mat)
  • βœ… Building office or front desk (apartments/condos)

Wait 24 hours (sometimes carriers mark as delivered early).

Still Missing After 24 Hours: Contact us immediately. We'll file a claim with the carrier and either send a replacement or issue a refund.

International Orders & Customs

Customs Clearance
International orders must clear customs in your country. This process typically takes 2-5 business days but can occasionally take longer.

Tracking During Customs:
Your tracking may show "Held in Customs" or "Clearance in Progress." This is normal and doesn't indicate a problem.

Duties, Taxes & Import Fees
Some countries charge import duties or taxes on international shipments. These fees are:

  • ❌ NOT controlled by EASEYN

  • βœ… Determined by your country's customs agency

Refusing Customs Fees:
If you refuse to pay import fees, your package will be returned to us. We cannot refund shipping costs in this case, and you'll be responsible for any additional return shipping fees.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Lost Package (Never Arrived)
If your tracking shows delivered but you never received it:

  1. Wait 24 hours (carriers sometimes mark delivered early)
  2. Check with neighbors, building staff, household members
  3. Contact carrier directly with tracking number
  4. Contact us at support@easeyn.com - we'll investigate

Resolution: We'll work with the carrier to locate your package. If it can't be found, we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund.

Stolen Package (Porch Piracy)
If your package was delivered but then stolen:

  1. File a police report (many carriers require this)
  2. Contact us with the police report number
  3. We'll work with you to resolve the situation

Note: While we can't control theft after delivery, we're committed to customer satisfaction and will work with you to find a solution.

Damaged Package
If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the box and damaged items
  2. Keep all packaging materials
  3. Contact us within 48 hours at support@easeyn.com
  4. Provide photos and order number

Resolution: We'll send a replacement immediately or issue a full refund.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Before Shipment:
If you realize your address is wrong AFTER placing your order:

  • Include your order number and correct address
  • We can update it if we haven't shipped yet (1-2 business day window)

After Shipment:
Once a package ships, we cannot change the delivery address. However:

  1. Contact the carrier directly (use your tracking number)
  2. Some carriers allow recipient-requested address changes
  3. You may be able to redirect to a pickup location

Returned Due to Incorrect Address:
If your package is returned to us because of an address issue:

  • We'll notify you when we receive the returned package
  • You can provide the correct address for reshipping
